It was a weekend filled with friends, flowers and furniture.
After a fun Friday game night with the girls my dog forced me to get out of bed at 6:30 AM on Saturday. Since I was up bright and early I decided to take advantage of the day and head to the flower market to buy some Spring blooms. These vibrantly color hydrandea reminded me of Tory Burch.
I refrained from buying cute new spring clothes (it's snowing in Chicago) so I shopped my own closet and found this vintage belt that belonged to my aunt...I remember asking her if I could have it when I was in middle school. It's from the 70s and still chic as ever.
I stopped by a client's house to drop off some pillows and check out her new chesterfield sofa...love, love, love it.
And speaking of upholstery, Jayson Home's Spring Upholstery Sale started this week. I snapped a few pictures of my favorite pieces for a client...meet Britain
and Sofia
all pieces that would look lovely in this this gorgeous new home in Lincoln Park. I wonder who is designing the interior?!
Saturday night was spent helping one of my closest friends celebrate her last weekend in Chicago. Ms. Tobin was my first friend at Miami and we have lived within driving distance of each other since sophmore year of college...it's crazy how almost 9 years flies by. (I will miss you t-bop!)
The festivities continued with brunch on Sunday but then it was back to work with a strong cup of coffee.
How was your weekend?
